I thought that might be in the works for a while, when Huckabee was kindly keeping Mitt Romney out of the race to clear the way for McCain. I think, though, McCain would have offered earlier so he didn't have to do any more campaigning after Romney dropped out if this was actually going to happen. I really like McCain, when he's not running for president. With his track record, I really think he could get a lot of good bipartisan legislation through. However, he is really old and has had enough trauma in his life that I'm not assuming he'll make it through the next four years.
