This immense and imaginary fairy tale has been among us for many years; the believe of an almighty creator. In my opinion, if you believe in God, then you must have a very weak mind. If you choose to believe in a supernatural power rather than believing in yourself, then you're just like the other millions out there... a bunch of ordinaries. People like that remind me of zombies... is like if they only know one thing when in fact, they don't know anything.

I'll tell you the only reason why religion has been "necessary"...it's used to manipulate the psychological analysis of our society. Also, the government needs religion...it's beneficial. And all that comes down to $$money$$ and authority.

I'm not mad at you if you are a true believer of some God. That's your choice and I am nobody to judge you. But in my opinion, if you're gonna believe in a creator... might as well let the sun be your God. That's our true creator according to science.

I don't even like to call myself Atheist...even that sounds like a religion... just call me... Primo

well yeah, i just recently decided to abandon that belief because i felt like everything i did was wrong and would be judged, so this way it just makes more sense, i feel liberated from guilt that was only in my mind(fiction put it there), but i understand how religion can sometimes help people ....

Oh, I've heard the same type of thing many times. Since us logical people are constantly inundated by folktales and mainly one character (always said to be real), it can only be expected that we will get miffed just enough to want to have a say.

If you're told that Spiderman is real by everyone over and over again (with faulty logic and proof), eventually you want to stand up and say, "No, he's just a fictional character!"

Ahhh.....the way the theist mind works....
