I don't see anything good in the future for this country. What I see is a lot of middle class friends and family quickly becoming lower class, a government flexing it's muscles, and huge decline in the welfare of those without health insurance. I think, if we were going to do something, we'd have done it by now. And I realize that's hypocritical, I myself don't do anything about it, but what COULD I do, write my congressman? Yeah I wonder where though.
I don’t see anything good in the future for this country.

The fact is that the US is still occupying Iraq... AND I also noticed that these "TALKS" that were first publicized as the Bush finding the best way to exit Iraq quickly morphed into ideas about sending MORE troops there. Basically "We're leaving, REALLY!! and the best way TO leave is.... hmmm... let me think about that for another year." Still didn’t change much. I don't think I'm alone in stating that I feel absolutely powerless as to who is president, and what they get (or don't get) to do.
