I think you miss the whole point of Pastafarianism. The world being created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster is a theory which is just as valid as the world being created in 7 days by an invisible bearded sky man. If you need proof that Pastafarianism is for real than just look at our graphs. Also if you really need proof of the existence of the FSM, then just read our sacred scripture: The Gospel of the FMS.

Our religion is much better than yours because in our afterlife we all get to drink from the beer volcano and be entertained by strippers. Sound ridiculous? Then get this: you believe that "a cosmic Jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat an apple of discernment from a magical tree."

If you still haven't got the point then PROVE that your your bearded sky man/Krishna/Isis/Mithras/Zeus exists... Then you might have my attention.

Burn in the hell of roasted genitals, horrors beyond description and imagination, where "Pastafarians" face the most scientificly and supernaturally horrificent tortures for mind, body, emotions, and soul. amen. If you think "waterboarding torture" is bad, then you don't know what the rest of us should do to you. I just hope I meet some "Pastafarians" in person.

From the comments here and FSM, you can see how bad things really are in our world today. First of all, the term Christian is not biblical in the sense that Jesus instructed his followers to preach that they were to be called Christians, this term was only introduced in the Book of Acts during King Agrip'pa's interview of Paul. Secondly, the notation of church denomination is more likely a true representation of the evil one then the lost man who doesn't believe in a higher power but rather his own works. When church going folks use their own personal morality over and above the teaching of the Holy Word of God you get exactly what this blog started about; hypocrites - the so called people of God that wouldn't know the Word if it slapped them in the face and fall upon their own works as a measuring stick of others. The ONLY way to learn the truth of God is for a man/woman to seek the face of God on his own and called upon the Lord with his mouth and heart. If the sheep hears the voice of the Shepherd, then he/she will know what to do, nothing else will prevail. A misconception is in both the lost and saved world is that once you follow Christ somehow you become a better person, no longer subject to tribulations, above those who are lost. This is where their own pride and self-righteousness evolve which is usually a direct result of not reading the Word of God daily. The simple fact is, I see many more non-believers doing good works than believers, which is a shame but too often true. And what is sad is that the non-believer truly believes that his own good works is some how going to preserve him after death. But the fact is that if you do not accept the Shepherd, no good works are going to resurrect you to life everlasting, rather only to resurrect you to torments forever. We are saved through Grace by Faith unto Good Works, there are no good works of man that will save you. There is no good man, no not one. The Grace is a gift of God presented by a risen Savior by his blood for our sins, it can't be earned. Faith is something unseen, if you could see it then there would be no Faith. Good Works are the fruit of the Spirit that dwells within the believer, if no Good Works, then I would suspect that the believer is no believer. There will be many who in the day of judgment, state but I did this and I did that in your name, but he will say, "Depart from Me, I never knew you." How sad...For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Greeks, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revelings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied to you all from our Lord Jesus Christ

I would say: “Go outside and pick up some garbage or help the elderly. Do something for others rather than writing long essays criticizing other people’s beliefs so you will feel good about yourself.” And for the record: I’m not a Catholic, I’m not even a Christian…

Maybe not, but you're certainly guilty of anti-intellectualism. You probably agree, and don't even see anything wrong with that.

You also believe that people's beliefs are "sacred", and that we can't criticize them. Here I have to quote again from the Wikipedia article on Sam Harris:

Harris freely admits that he is advocating a form of intolerance, but not, as he puts it, the kind of intolerance that led to the Gulag. Rather he is arguing for a conversational intolerance, one in which we require in our everyday discourse that people's convictions really scale with the available evidence. He feels that the time has come to demand intellectual honesty right across the board, and ignore the prevailing taboos and political correctness which, in his view, appear to prevent us from openly criticising religion.

Harris observes that these are the rules which seem to apply to every other field of knowledge. He notes that we are rarely admonished simply to respect someone's views on, say, physics or history; instead, we both demand reasons and expect evidence.

Anyway, feel free to write short essays that don't criticize anyone or anything in your own blog. :)

What really irks me is that most "Christians" that send hate-mail to FSM say, "Oh, you're joking, hahah I'm laughing with you. Now stop".

One day I hope to laugh straight back in their faces, I hate people who are offered such an important lesson, and turn it down.

The hate mail towards the FSM is an example of how insane some believers can be.

The motto goes something like this. "Jesus says to love everyone."

Unfortunately, they have a caveat running through their head which when runs something like this.

"Jesus says to love everyone (but only the people agree with me)"
