Well...
Im in constant battle of with my mind and my heart.
And when I know my heart wants to say no, my mind somehow always overrides it.
Im going to have to do a little soul searching, and I've sure been holding it off. I guess my mind has a little to blame for that as well. My thoughts, unreal as they are, consume every part of my body. There are many aspects in your life where no can come up uneasily, and for me? Well I just need to say it quicker.

“Do you say no to good health habits in order to fit in with your peers?” Hummm, ah, well… I’m a woman :)

Now seriously; In “18 WAYS TO SAY "NO" POSITIVELY” (Discipline Behavior) it says: “"No" is a power-packed word, quick on the lips, easy to say.”. If it is so easy why does it become so hard to say it as we grow up? Children say it often without any problems at all… I’m experienced on that with my little one.... :) I believe that it makes us uncomfortable saying “No” because we always view it as “the negative little word”. So the solution is disguise it by creating alternatives to the N-word and maybe then the others will accept it easier… if not, "send them to hell", the sooner you learn to say “No” to others the quickest you’ll say “yes” to what really matters and start having time for what’s really important.

It is very difficult in many situations to say no. However, as you noted it is needed and an Art that needs to be redeveloped! No, no, no, no, No, NO. Decided to practice while I was typing.

Saying YES too often will basically put you in a hell on earth life.
This is a great thing to bring to peoples attention.
To be weary of temptation.

This is so true! It's much harder to say 'no'. It's borne out of our natural need for other's approval. But it's indeed important to know when to say 'no'.

I agree with you. There is an art to saying no. Too many people are afraid to say no. You get stuck with a job cause you cant say no, your kids put you into a corner so you cant say no. I am learning to say no. Had to tell my grown daughter no recently. It was hard.
